Trackers may be a saving grace when it comes to losing valuables

One minute you’re together, posting tweets, and surfing the web. The next minute, silence.
The heartache starts to set in as the minutes and hours pass without each other.
The loss at times is unbearable; knowing you two may never share your time together again.
Have you ever found yourself sweating over the temporary loss of your cell phone, or maybe had a panic attack because you can’t find your keys?
According to Elite Daily News, some of the most-lost items are cell phones, keys, chapstick, and nail clippers.
At Hutchinson Community College, some students say their most-lost items are cell phones and socks.
How can we prevent from losing our most valued items?
Recently a company, TrackR, designed a quarter-sized chip that makes finding items simpler.
The TrackR app is equipped with a lost-item ringer and a GPS coordinate system.
The item ringer makes finding your lost items a cakewalk. Open the TrackR app and listen to your chip-equipped device chime with the push of a button.
The distance indicator shows you how far away you are from your item, and the crowd GPS incorporates a notification system that sends updates on your item’s location when another TrackR user is within 100 feet of it.
Losing items may be inevitable; however this chip could forever change losing important, expensive items such as cell phones and keys.
